After several days of exploring Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, I finally installed Photoshop CS2 in my desktop. For those who doesn’t know, Photoshop CS2 can only be installed in Ubuntu through Wine. Although it Photoshop looks a bit dull and runs a bit slower in Ubuntu, I still prefer to use it for now. I am really planning to explore Gimp, I am still not used to its interface but it really looks promising and I also browsed the internet for sample of images/graphics that was created in Gimp and I am starting to love it.
I am still using Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon as my secondary platform and Windows XP as my primary. I still need to get use to the programs in Ubuntu that will replace my current Graphics and Web Design tools.
I will be posting more about my experience in this two softwares and sample designs from Gimp on my next post.
