Manny Pacquiao Won by Unanimous Decision against Barrera
Filipino Super Feather Weight Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao scored a unanimous decision over Mexican Legend Marco Antonio “Baby Face Assassin” Barrera during their rematch at Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Saturday night(Sunday noon here in Manila.)
Pacquiao outboxed the mexican who came out aggressive during the open rounds.
Pacquiao wobbled Barrera with a crisp left straight at the 11th round, it resulted in a two inch open wound below Barrera’s right eye.
Barrera then threw a sucker punch at Pacquiao as the round close down which resulted in giving Barrera a 1 point deduction.
In the end, the judges saw it 118-109, 118-109, 115-112 all in favor Pacquiao.
Pacquiao (45 wins, 3 losses, 35 KOs) was a heavy favorite to finish off the 33-year-old Barrera, who claimed the fight is his last big-time bout.
